Whether you have a garden overflowing with product or you've always wanted to try preserving your favorite fruits and veggies, this workshop is a perfect introduction.
In this beginner-friendly workshop you'll learn:
- What water bath canning is and how it works
- Which foods are safe for water bath canning (think jams, jellies, pickles and tomatoes!)
- Step-by-step guidance on sterilizing jars, sealing and storage
- Safety tips to ensure your preserves last and taste great!
We'll walk you through the canning process together, and you'll leave with a few jars to get you started and you'll have the confidence to start canning at home!
